＜Award (activity support grant) ＞
Total amount expected to be 200,000 yen.
*Allocation method to be determined according to the application situation.
＜Submission details＞
Video works intended as documentaries by the producers.
*Works must have been produced after 1 January 2023.
Works that are based on facts or reproduce factual information are acceptable.
*Works that do not infringe on the human rights or copyrights of others.
*Music used in the work must be copyright free or with the prior permission of the copyright holder.
*Partial use of cartoons, literature, television or film must have the prior permission of the copyright holder.
*The necessary formalities regarding the copyright used in the work must be completed before entering the competition.
＜Divisions＞
(1) International Competition Section: English or Japanese subtitled films / Points awarded to students or those over 60 years of age.
(2) Domestic student A category: Vocational schools, universities and graduate schools
(3) Domestic student B category: High school students and below
(4) Domestic Senior Section: 60 years old and over
(5) General category: Non-student and under 60 years old.
(6) Location Film Division: Films set in the Yaeyama or Shonan regions / Points are awarded to students or those aged 60 and over.
Each of the above categories will be judged separately in the short film and feature film categories.
Short film category: Must be a documentary film of at least 5 minutes but less than 15 minutes.
Feature film category: must be at least 60 minutes long.
＜Submissions＞

*Submit the video to YouTube or Vimeo.
*If the video is password-protected, the password must be stated.
*Submission of video files via online storage is not acceptable.
*Include the following information in the body of the email
Summary of the work (approx. 200 characters), biography of the director (approx. 100 characters), title of the work, minutes, name of the director, name, address, telephone number and e-mail address of the submitter.
If the work is in a language other than Japanese, Japanese subtitles must be provided.
*If the film is made in Japanese and entered in the International Competition section, English subtitles must be attached.
Scan of the bank transfer statement for the entry fee.
A photographic image of the bank transfer statement may be attached to the e-mail.

Second call deadline: 4,000 yen per film
Third call deadline: ¥5,000 per film
Feature film category
First call for entries deadline: 4,000 yen per film
Second call for entries deadline: ¥5,000 per work
Third call deadline: ¥6,000 per work
Copyrights of the films belong to the applicants themselves.
